Students have waited all year and finally today the Eyed Trout Eggs Arrived at Okmulgee Primary School.  We have an estimated 300 eyed trout eggs and are now waiting to see when they hatch.  We are anticipating that they will hatch on November 5, 2017 but we will just have to wait and see.  Check back and see what happens!

DAY 13 – November 8, 2017

The Alevins still have their egg sacks and are still living in the egg basket.  Their bodies are getting longer and the egg sacks are getting smaller.  You can see that the trout are becoming darker in color and starting to look like real fish.  Students are loving this educational experience!
