I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

Professional Experience

Current Position:

This is my sixth year teaching Kindergarten in Okmulgee. I’m excited to see what the new school year holds. I currently serve on the Building Leadership Team at the Primary site. I also serve on the District Leadership Team alongside other teachers in the district. 

Previous Position:

While I was in college I worked full-time at a child development center. I completed my student teaching at William Gay Early Childhood Center in McAlester, OK in a kindergarten classroom.  Right after I graduated, I took an assistant teacher’s postion in a pre-k classroom at Jenks West Elementary School. Now I’m here!

Family Information:

I married my best friend in 2017! We have a very cute and sassy almost 2 year old daughter. She loves to play with our dog, Crimson in the backyard. We are expecting our second child in February! 

Personal Information:

Outside of teaching, I enjoy watching all kinds of movies! My all time favorite movie is Pride and Prejudice! I also enjoy reading whenever I can find the time to sit and relax. I can never get enough Taco Bell or cofee from the Coffee Vault!
